Walking in natural environments, clearing rapids in inflatable boats, fling by caves and crystal clear waters, enjoy all that nature can provide sustainably and consciously. These are the activities that make the increasingly popular taste. During the 4th Tourism Fair held in July, from 1.7 thousand people interviewed, 34.3% showed the Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism and activities for your next travel, behind only the Sun and Beach Tourism with 52.1 %.

The segment, which last year made national profit of $ 490 million, according to the Brazilian Association of Business of Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism (Abeta) structure in the country and gain international visibility. This year, Brazil was elected as the National Geographic Adventure Best of Adventure 2009 destination.

The Ministry of Tourism (MTur), in partnership with Abeti, Adventure program through the Safe, serves for the segment is consolidated in the country as a safe activity for Brazilian and foreign tourists. Today, the program has 4.84 thousand skilled people in 16 destinations in 13 Brazilian states by means of courses in Business Management, the Safety Management System and the Drive Minimum Skills, First Aid Course and Qualification of Volunteers for the Volunteer Group the Search and Rescue.

The program, involving more than 100 municipalities, account, also with the participation of 480 companies. Related to Aventura Segura, were also created 13 groups of Volunteer Search and Rescue. Today the Adventure Tourism has established 24 Technical Standards and published under the ABNT. "This shows that the segment is organized and professionalized. All for the tourists have a safe and fun without setbacks, "says the coordinator-general of Qualification and Certification of MTur, Luciano Passion.
